OUTFIT | Urban Boho at Navy Pier, Chicago

Dress - American Eagle
Sunglasses - American Eagle
Shoes - Converse

And so, the holiday outfit posts begin to roll in!

On Monday, myself and the clan flew across the Atlantic to the Windy City, and that feels like yonks ago, as we have done a ton since then! From baseball games and food tours to shops, shops, shops and art museums, we have shopped, ate, and explored around so much that it's hard for me to believe we have only completed visiting one location out of four we have planned!

Today we have arrived at Niagra Falls, the Canadian side (it's my first time in Canada and I must say the money notes are so pretty), after the past few days in Chicago. The weather did not welcome us with bright spells, but rather rain, and lots more rain. Like Ireland! Despite the dreariness, we did look and have admire the waterfalls (for a brief amount of time). They're magnificent!

Okay, now back on track! I wore this gorgeous maxi dress on Tuesday in Chicago when we went for an evening stroll on Navy Pier - the sunshine, the lake water, the Dippin' Dots and Emily snapping pictures of me (and filming... shhh) made me feel summery and fashion blogger-y as we walked with Chicago's skyline in view! I love the slit in the dress, and while the pattern is eye-catching it is simple and stylish.

I bought the maxi that day actually, when I was browsing in American Eagle in Water Tower Place. I picked up the cute floral sunglasses there too (I have bought loads of bits and pieces so far from lots of shops, so will definitely do a haul when I return). As of that day, I had no better shoes than my black converse to finish off my bohemian look (I only brought two pairs of shoes with me on holiday as I was in bad need of more decent pairs - sandals especially - which I have now found - and what better place to shop than on holidays?). Even though the sneakers didn't fit the vibe, I went with it and decided I was sporting an Urban
Boho style!

In other news, I've uploaded my first YouTube video! I'd love it if you could like the video and subscribe to my channel. There's plenty more videos to come, including lookbooks and vlog type videos of my holiday (yes, that includes this outfit!).

Stay tuned here for more outfits from Chicago and soon other places I'm visiting! My Instagram has been full of photos from my trip too, so make sure to follow it.

On a last note, I'm so happy America has legalised same sex marriage. #LoveWins <3
